Dr Shuming Chen received his PhD from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is now a Full Professor at the Southern University of Science and Technology. His research interests include quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) and other novel optoelectronic devices, as well as their applications in displays. He has published over 150 papers in high-impact journals, including Science Advances, Nature Communications and Light: Science & Applications, amassing over 14,000 citations. His H-index is 64. He has received the Guangdong Province Natural Science Award, the Shenzhen Youth Science and Technology Award, the Shenzhen Natural Science Award, and the Chinese Institute of Electronics Natural Science Award.
